Junior Accountant for Finance Department

Position summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance department in Piraeus. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking to build a solid foundation in accounting within a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
• Handle accounts payable and perform regular reconciliations
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain updated and accurate financial data in internal systems
• Participate in internal audits and other assigned tasks

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Integrity, responsibility, and a proactive mindset
• Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable)
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
