CMA Introducing PR Electronics 3202 Pulse isolator – Switch amplifier!

The PR 3202 adds a pulse isolator / switch amplifier to the trusted and renowned PR 3000 product series, that for more than a decade has played a vital role in our customers’ process solutions.

PR 3202 provides an easy, reliable digital signal interface in process solutions.

• Input: NAMUR, NPN open collector, contact
• Output: 2 x relay or NPN transistor output
• 2.5 kVAC 4-port galvanic isolation
• Line Fault Detection (LFD) / cable break detection
• Power supply 16.8 VDC…31.2 VDC
• Response time: Relay < 20 ms / NPN < 0.1 ms

For easy deployment, the configuration can be achieved via DIP-switch programming. PR 3202 features advanced Line Fault Detection to detect if a cabling short or open circuit is present. Line fault is indicated via the front LEDs and the secondary output.

Based on the strong foundation of the PR 3000 series with the well-known and unique features such as high galvanic isolation, low power consumption, and compact size, the PR 3202 is a flexible and easy-to-use product when typical digital input cards of PLCs are interfaced with NAMUR proximity sensors.
