SMART VALVE EMERGENCY SYSTEM

Smart Valve Emergency System: An Innovative Solution for Maritime Emergency Needs

In the maritime industry, where system reliability is crucial, solutions that ensure operational continuity in emergencies are invaluable. The Smart Valve Emergency System is one such innovative solution, designed to temporarily replace valves in a ship's system, ensuring uninterrupted operation during a fault or emergency.

Functionality and Features

The Smart Valve Emergency System can temporarily replace ship valves, provided that the pressure does not exceed 8 bar. This capability allows vessels to continue their operations without interruption, even in the event of a valve malfunction.

Additionally, the system can generate a 4..20mA signal, which is essential for controlling an I/P Converter or replacing it in emergencies. This adds extra flexibility, allowing operators to maintain control of critical systems when normal operations are disrupted.

Another key feature of the Smart Valve Emergency System is the ability to control a Positioner Valve through its built-in analog system. This ensures that valve control can continue uninterrupted, even when the primary system has failed.

Features:

  • Simulate and replace electric and pneumatic valves
  • Simulate and replace valves from Maneuvering System
  • Simulate and replace on-off as well as analog valves from Inert Gas System
  • Simulate and replace Change over valve
  • An analog air control system is presented, which has 4...20 mA input and provides the ability to select the variable air control output
  • A generator signal is simulated, which produces 4...20 mA and can adjust an I/P Converter via a built-in potentiometer

Integrated Control Systems and Portability

The system comes equipped with essential instruments for voltage and pressure indications, providing precise data to the operator. It includes a voltmeter for indicating the input voltage, as well as a pressure indicator for showing the inlet pressure. These tools ensure that the operator has full control of the system's operating conditions, offering real-time insight into system performance.

A pressure regulator is also included, offering greater precision and control over the system's inlet pressure, ensuring that the pressures remain within safe limits.

One of the key advantages of the Smart Valve Emergency System is its portability. Equipped with a 7Ah battery, the system can operate autonomously for extended periods, making it ideal for emergency situations where access to a stable power source may not be immediately available.

Reliability and Safety

The Smart Valve Emergency System offers a reliable and flexible solution for vessels that require temporary valve replacement and control of critical systems during emergencies. With its ability to handle pressures up to 8 bar, manage analog signals, and operate autonomously via battery, the system is an essential tool for ensuring operational continuity under challenging conditions.

The maritime industry stands to benefit from this innovative technology, which ensures seamless operation of ships and protects them from malfunctions in critical systems.

COMPACT DIRECTIONAL VALVES

4/3 and 4/2 modular directional valves, optionally with load-sensing (LS) or flow sharing (LUDV) control 3/2 … 14/2 flow diverters Special directional valves Cetop 2 valves

COMPACT POWER MODULES

For clamping operations in machine tools AC motors up to 2200 W Flow up to 20.7 l/min (at 2800 rpm) Peak pressure up to 270 bar

HYDRAULIC MOTOR

A hydraulic motor is a mechanical actuator that converts hydraulic pressure and flow into torque and angular displacement (rotation). The hydraulic motor is the rotary counterpart of the hydraulic cylinder as a linear actuator

HYDRAULIC PUMPS

A hydraulic pump is a mechanical source of power that converts mechanical power into hydraulic energy (hydrostatic energy i.e. flow, pressure). It generates flow with enough power to overcome pressure induced by the load at the pump outlet

HYDRAULIC VALVES

Hydraulic valves are mechanical devices that are used to regulate the flow of fluid within a hydraulic circuit or system. They can be used to completely close a line, to redirect pressurized fluid or to control the level of flow to a certain area.
