Level control

CAPACITANCE LEVEL SWITCH

A capacitive liquid level switch is an instrument for monitoring the height of a liquid and tripping a relay contact switch or transmitting solid state relay switch output when a maximum, minimum or intermediate level has been reached.

LEVEL PRESSURE SENSORS

A pressure sensor is a device for pressure measurement of gases or liquids. Pressure is an expression of the force required to stop a fluid from expanding, and is usually stated in terms of force per unit area. A pressure sensor usually acts as a transducer; it generates a signal as a function of the pressure imposed.

LEVEL TRANSMITTER

A Level Transmitter is simply an instrument that provides continuous level measurement. Level transmitters can be used to determine the level of a given liquid or bulk-solid at any given time.

MAGNETIC LEVEL SWITCH

Magnetic level switches are used for the monitoring and control of liquid levels in vessels. The float sliding on the tube contains a ring magnet whose magnetic field switches the sealed contact in a noncontacting fashion. The sealed contacts are available as N/O, N/C or changeover contacts.

RADAR FOR SOLIDS & LIQUIDS

Radar level instruments measure the distance from the transmitter (located at some high point) to the surface of a process material located farther below in much the same way as ultrasonic transmitters – by measuring the time-of-flight of a traveling wave.

ROTARY PADDLE LEVEL SWITCH

he purpose of the rotary paddle level switch is to detect the presence of solid/powdery material in most kinds of tanks, bins and containers. When this paddle rotation is impeded by material, surrounding the paddle, motor will stall and cause the Micro-switch to change state (indicating an alarm or control).

ULTRASONIC LEVEL SWITCH

An ultrasonic switch is a device that uses inaudible high-frequency sound (ultrasound) to detect the presence or absence of a liquid at a designated point. Ultrasonic level switches use the properties of sound transmission in vapor and liquids to detect liquid level.

VIBRATING LEVEL SWITCH

Vibration fork switches are only suitable for point level measurement. They consist of an oscillating or tuning fork, which resonate in air with a known natural frequency.
