Our HR Department is continuously growing, supporting personnel’s needs and is currently seeking to employ a full time HR Assistant.
The position
HR Assistant
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Support of all necessary procedures for the issuance of ISO certifications.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Conduct market research for orders relating to personnel.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc).
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc).
- Communicate with public services when necessary.
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
- Writing texts, advertisements and articles related to human resources.
- Schedule travel arrangements for personnel.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Fast computer typing skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and Greek (oral and written).
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking capability.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective human relationships.
- Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of labor laws.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
