Our Technical Department is continuously growing, providing high quality services and is currently seeking to employ a full-time Senior Service Engineer for EGEON TECHNOLOGIES.
With over 50 successful projects completed in just three years of operation, EGEON has rapidly established itself as a trusted name in the field of 2-stroke marine diesel engine upgrades and services.
At the helm of the company is Mr. Diamantis, Managing Director and experienced 2-stroke Marine Diesel Superintendent/Engineer, with more than 25 years in the maritime industry. Over the past 8 years, he has been deeply involved in the field of marine engines, personally overseeing and completing over 150 successful projects.
His name has become closely associated with the specific sector, bringing proven expertise, technical depth and reliability to every engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- On board repairs/maintenance tasks on Two Stroke Marine Engines (ME-B/C, MC, MC-C) and their sub-systems.
- Troubleshooting and root cause investigation on basic Hydraulic/electronic/mechanical failures of Two stroke Engines.
- Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
- Ensuring that works and operations comply with maker’s recommendations and safety regulations.
- Working on complex diesel engine repair and maintenance projects in cooperation with a multilingual and multicultural team.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements by coordinating maintenance activities, reporting, and providing both remote and on-site technical support.
- Preparation of spare parts list proposals tailored to each project.
- Composition of comprehensive Service Reports about the project, with conclusion and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in marine/mechanical/nautical engineering from an accredited school.
- Experience in using or a desire to learn ME-B/C Engine control system.
- Hands on experience on internal combustion engines repairs.
- Ability to solve basic mechanical/hydraulic/electronic issues.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- A desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge.
