I/P Transducers (Current to Pressure Transducers), also known as I/P Converters, convert a variable electrical signal to a linearly proportional pneumatic output. The pneumatic output is commonly used to apply pneumatic pressure to control valves, actuators, dampeners and louvers clutches and brakes, and web tensioners.
I/P Transducers are offered with extensive combinations of inputs and outputs, industry certifications (FM, CSA, ATEX) and Explosion-proof housings. I/P Transducers are available in various mounting options for space constrained applications. Explosion-proof I/P Transducers deliver reliable high performance for the toughest applications in the most hazardous environments. The NEMA 4X (IP65) housing is designed for both Intrinsically Safe and Explosion-Proof operation.

The Type 595XP Explosionproof I/P (current to pressure) transducer converts a 4–20mA electrical current signal to a proportionally linear pneumatic output. A low mass control circuit provides consistent output in high vibration applications.
